Angler Comments

Welcome back to the report,

A tough week, as they all will be now the weather has slowly settled into its colder season and only due to get colder, even if this is the warmest November in 350+ yrs.

Gary Lagden, after switching swims with his mate at the draw, obviously did the right thing and was rewarded witha brace of 40z in a night.

Snags lineaqr came first @ 47lb and then, several hours later that night banked a beautiful 42lb mirror. Just what you need on a fresh November night, and the whole reason anglers keep at it through the ciolder months !

My close friend, Fatty Palmer, broke his duck and although he did lose a fish, finally, he had his first Gigantica fish in the shape of a ol'friend of mine, the shoulders common. A beautiful fish, especially in its pre-winter colours.

The other fish to be be banked, again, too a close friend of mine, the Manager of Tackle BOx in Kent,'Tusk'  finally broke his duck.  a ready tied shop bought rig, with a boilie he stole off of Keith, on a obvious 'pub' chuck, proved no matter how poor an angler, your always in with a shout and so it was when Tusk banked his first Gigantica fish, an awesome 39lb mirror ( which I presume, he foul hooked  ;0) )

Some good angling went un rewarded, Dan from Fat fish, angled very well but failed unfortunately, and Aston, spent most of the trip trying to keep all the wildlife away from his bivvie each and every night as the rest of us slept sweetly.

A difficult week, awesome conditions considering the time of year and more normal, seasonally cold weather due too arrive, maybe a HUGE winter fish is on the cards.......hopefully.
