AN IMMACULATE WEEK !!!!

Well, what can I say about this week apart from wow what a week to go down in history from KING of the pond to some absolute stunning fish and plenty of them.

We will start with Eddie fishing stock pond.

Eddie wasted no time in getting off the mark with a scrapper 20 fishing 9 wraps to a margin spot and baiting Boilie and maizefrom the margin with a bait scoop served him well for a few fish mainly 20s with a 30 thrown in the mix.

Next, we have Jeff Maskall fishing in Pole Position fishing at 30 wraps to a horizon marker paid him on the 1st night and what a reward it was although the only fish for the week but a true stunner being The Cheese weighing in at 52lb 12oz shame it was his only fish as maximum effort was applied.

Next up is John Ling fishing in Treeline finding a spot at 24 wraps heading stink’s direction ended the week with some quality being The Up Front Mirror at a new top weight of 52lb and that was backed up with Bullet at 41lb 8oz and a hand full of others fishing snow men style on a slip D.

Co’s point hosted regular Chris Clarke for the second week running as he was lucky enough to pick ball 1 so wasted no time in putting his name to Co’s and went straight back on his spot at 30 wraps baiting very accurately with plenty of oiled up boilie and maize mix repaid him very regularly ending the week with 14 fish and the heigh light for me being the Wood Carving at 38lb what a stunning fish backed up with the likes of Box Common at 44lb 6oz,Hutchie’s at 31lb 6oz,Long Spot 44lb 12oz,Shmokin at 36lb,The Windy Common at 43lb 10oz to name a few.

Next up is Mike Kallaras in Scotties Corner which was looking very promising with the very hot weather.

Mike fished as stealthy as possible wasting no time in tying up a couple of bags as fishing 16 wraps in a gap in the weed beds and 1 off the end of it at 18 wraps using bags with micro pelleta bit of glug and slow sinking maize as hook baits and loose feeding maize and pellet was the winning combo for the week after losing a few a quick change in hook pattern seemed to sort the issue out and bagged 12 fish including The Spotty Leather at an impressive 59lb 8oz,Bernards at 48lb 8oz,La Boheme at 48lb 4oz,Lashes at 53lb 8oz,Squeaky Clean at 38lb 8oz,Pixels at 41lb the list goes on all the effort of tying bags certainly paid off.

Next we have Aaron Metcalf in Big Southerly that wasted no time and started feeding pellet to a spot at 14 wraps and 25 wraps the 14 spot soon started to produce the goods with the absolutely stunning fish known as Mad Max weighing in at 42lb and it didn’t end there with the likes of Jason’s at 38lb 8oz, The Roke at 45lb,Twisted Scale at 33lb he ended the week with 8 fish gracing his net.

Moving on to the highlight of a lot of people’s week especially Neil Parker and of course us Bailiffs so here goes.

Baxters is where history was made with Neil being the angler fishing at 23.5 wraps towards the tower on a spot with a large spread of bait consisting of Mainline Activ-8 Boilies and maize Fishing a combi rig boilie bottom bait and white pop-up snowman style was the chosen weapon.

A very quiet week until early hours Friday morning perseverance paid off for him netting a large mirror in the shape of The Dustbin at 58lb 12oz what followed a couple of hours later was epic when he called me to say he’s got a bigger fish in the net so we got the scales out and there it was at 98lb 8oz The Immaculate Common A truly amazing sight to see and to share the experience and to be a part of it all has certainly been a highlight that will last for ever.

For now, tight lines

Andy.
